Family Photos!

The week of Easter break Mom and Dad invited all of us to have family photos taken. Unfortunately, not all could make it, but we gathered who we could and had a great time documenting this time in our lives... and luckily ALL of the grandkids were able to make it!

She rolls, both ways!

Ellie started rolling over from back to front!

Today, we had Ellie's 4 months well baby check up! She is doing well :)

She weighs 12lbs, 8oz and is in the 25th percentile for weight. She was 10lbs, 1 oz at her 2 month check up.
She is 24 1/2 inches long and is in the 50th percentile for height. She was in the 25th percentile at her two month check up.
She is also in between the 25th and 50th percentile for head circumference.
She's growing!!

While we were in the Dr.'s office waiting to be seen I had her laying on the exam table. Ben had just walked in, he came to help ease my anxiety because today was also a vaccination day. He came in, gave kisses, we put her back down and she rolled right over and smiled at herself in the mirror in front of her! Now that she has started, we can't get her to stop! She has rolled over probably a dozen times this afternoon. She still can't get back to her back, but I think she'll be rolling around the house in no time :)

4 months old!

Ellie is four months old! She is a super happy smiley baby! She has one little tooth growing in on the bottom that has already broken through and it seems another is on it's way.

I am convinced that she will go straight to walking and skip crawling all together. She LOVES to stand and has started to arch her back in protest to anything she doesn't want to do, usually sitting or laying. She has no problem telling us exactly how she feels! She can go from smiley to screaming in no time, and we have noticed a littttle temper... although we haven't quite figured out where it came from ;)

We have so much fun with her! She is enjoying walks. She has started to giggle. She likes to be outside. She hates her carseat still.

Her blues eyes sparkle more everyday and her hair continue to get lighter and lighter. And this girl has personality!! Boy does she have personality, just look at the photo below... this photo screams personality to me! And we are so in love with her... so in love with her!

She still loves to eat and loves to nurse even more. She is doing much better with her reflux and the spitting up seems to be improving also. But now we have teething drool and a runny nose :)

Still they're cousins...!

Still they're cousins, identical cousins and you'll find
they laugh alike, they walk alike, at times they even talk alike.
You can lose your mind ... when cousins are two of a kind!

Yes, I used to watch the Patty Duke show ALL the time! Just one of my many Nick-at-Nite fav's.

Anyway, this past weekend we took some pictures of Ellie and Jaxon (cousins, probably as far away from identical as possible). They seemed to be taking each other in as it was the first time they really got a good look.
