Our first two weeks

Our first two weeks have been pretty successful! We are all still learning, but enjoying every step of the way. Ellie is doing well with breastfeeding, she has learned to latch well and definitely enjoys a good feeding. She doesn't seem to be too effected by my food choices, which is nice. She is sleeping well during the day and we are working on sleeping during the night. She prefers to sleep in mine or Ben's arms rather than her crib or bassinet. We're hoping that changes as time passes :)

Along with all of that our first two weeks have been spent cuddling; Lucy has really taken to Ellie and always wants to be next to me when I have her.

We give lots of kisses! 

We made our first trip to the pediatrician and she did really well riding in her carseat.

We took our first (and a few more) bath. She didn't enjoy the first bath very much, I think she was cold. However, since then she is doing better and really loves when I rinse her head in warm water and curling up in the warm towel out of the dryer.

Ellie loves to cuddle with Daddy. He has done so well with comforting her when I am trying to get a little rest or have just fed her.

We catch every gassy smile on camera that we can! We love them all! I can't help but just beam when I see these little smiles. They make every sleepless night and fussy day worth it!

I was successful in taking my first shower without Ben home. I brought her bouncer into the bathroom while I showered and she was very content. This was our first attempt at the bouncer and I think it will be one of our best friends!

And of course we just take lots of pictures, especially when her eyes are open! I am betting that they will be blue, but only time will tell! Isn't she so cute!
